Chocolate Filled Vanilla Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 100 grams maida
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 80 grams butter at room temperature
  • 200 ml condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup milk at room temperature
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
  • 100 grams compound chocolate
  • 50 ml Amul Fresh Cream
  • 1 tsp butter

Instructions

  • Firstly over a strainer, add all the dry ingredients like maida, baking powder and baking soda. Mix everything well. Now keep this aside.
  • In another bowl, add condensed milk and butter and whisk it well until it becomes pale yellow in colour.
  • Now batchwise, little by little add all the dry ingredients and start mixing it well using cut and fold method. Then slowly and gradually add milk and whisk it well, if possible whisk it with the help of an electric beater.
  • Finally add vanilla essence and mix it well again. Make sure that there are no lumps. The mixture should be thick as shown in the image below.
  • For making ganache heat the chocolate by using double boiler method then add the hot cream over heat and mix it then add butter into it and mix everything well. Make sure that there shouldn't be any lumps. Your ganache is now ready. Keep it inside the refrigerator and use it accordingly.
  • Now heat a kadai for pre-heating. Spread its base with some salt. Now place a small ring or katori then place a plate or a net over the katori, as shown below. Now cover the kadai and pre-heat it on a high flame for 7 minutes then on medium flame for 3 minutes.
  • Now put 2 tbsp of cake mixture in each of the silicon mould then place it over the net as shown in the image below. Quickly cover the kadai and bake it for 12 to 15 mins. Repeat the same with the rest of the batches.
  • Now let them come to the room temperature then with a help of a small spoon, scoop out a little from the centre (refer to the image below) Now pour the ganache in a piping bag and fill the centre of the cupcakes with the ganache. To cover the centre decorate the centre by making flower designs with the help of a flower nozzle.
  • Now decorate the cake as per your wish. I have decorated it with chocolate ganache and some heart sprinkles. Serve it to your kids and believe me they would just love it.
