  • Honey
  • Peanut Butter
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Rolled oats
  • Coconut oil
  • Cocoa powder
  • Dates
  • Sea salt

Instructions

  • Use a food processor to pulse the dates, coconut oil and peanut butter until the dates are in very small pieces. Transfer the processed mixture into a large bowl and mix in the honey and cocoa powder.
  • Continually mix until the cocoa powder is properly distributed then add in the oats and seeds and mix until they are all combined.
  • Line a 8x8 baking dish with a parchment paper and press the mixture into the dish. Use another piece of parchment paper to get the shape you want for the bars because the mixture will get sticky. Sprinkle the sea salt on top.
  • Place the dish in a 180*C preheated oven and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes. Then remove it from the oven and allow it to cool for at least 10 minutes. Place the cooled bars in a freezer for about 10 minutes and then cut into 8 to 10 bars.
