Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups cooked Rice
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 60-70 gm Chocolate, 1 Cardamom crushed
  • 1-2 Cloves
  • 1 small Cinnamon stick
  • 2 tbsp Ghee or Clarified Butter
  • 2-3 tbsp Fried Mixed Nuts

Instructions

  • Heat some Ghee in a cooking pot. Add slightly crushed Cardamoms, Cinnamon stick and a few Cloves. Fry them all for a minute or two. Also add few fried mixed nuts of your choice too. I usually keep fried slivered mixed nuts in my pantry because they are very much handy and absolutely easy to use in many a delightful Desserts.
  • Meanwhile cook Rice as you normally do for everyday meals. Take care not to break the grains or make it too mushy. It should be cooked al dente. Firm yet fully cooked. Basmati Rice is the ideal choice for this.
  • Now add this Rice to the cooking pot with the Nuts and spices. Mix well and add melted Chocolate along with some Sugar according to one's own taste. Mix it well. Serve warm with a generous garnishing of some more of fried slivered Mixed Nuts.
