Chocolate dipped Gujiya

Ingredients

  • All purpose flour - 250gm.+1 tb.sp
  • 80 ml Oil -
  • 1/2 kg Khoya -
  • gm Bura -200
  • Cardamom powder - 1 t.sp
  • 75 gm Coconut powder -
  • Almonds (finely chopped)- 3 tb.sp
  • Chironji - 2 tb.sp
  • Melon seeds - 2 tb.sp.(fried)
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup Dark Chocolate compound -
  • Sprinklers 2 tb.sp

Instructions

  • Fry khoya in a pan on a low flame until pink in colour.Switch off the gas.Keep on stirring until it becomes cool.Mix bura and dry fruits Keep it aside.
  • For the dough - mix all purpose flour and oil until crumb like mixture.Add water little by little to make stiff dough.Cover and let it rest for 5 min.
  • Now divide the dough into lemon size ball.Mix all purpose flour and water to make batter.(slurry)Roll on one ball of the dough like a puri,place 2 t.sp.khoya mixture in the center, grease the edges with slurry and fold like half moon shape.Make all the gujiyas like this.Now put a gujiya in a gujiya mould and remove extra dough.Cover them with a damp cloth.
  • Heat oil in a karahi,fry 4-5 gujiya at a time.First on medium heat and then low to medium heat. Fry all the gujiyas.Let them cool.
  • Melt dark chocolate compound in a bowl in microwave for 30 seconds at 10- 10 min.interval.Dip half portion of the gujiya and sprinkle sprinklers over it.
