Ingredients

  • Whole wheat flour
  • Baking powder
  • Baking soda
  • Oil
  • Vanilla Essence
  • Milk
  • Curd
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Jaggery

Instructions

  • Seive dry ingredients whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and cocoa powder. Keep it aside.
  • In a deep bowl add wet ingredients oil, milk, curd, vanilla essence and jaggery also. Stir to mix now add dry ingredients and mix them.
  • Pour the batter in a greased baking tray and add chopped walnuts.
  • Bake chocolate walnut brownies for around 15-20 min at 180 degree C temperature. After baking you can check by inserting a fork or toothpick if it come out clean then brownies are baked otherwise you can bake them for few more minutes.
  • Keep it aside to cool and separate from baking tray after it cools down. You can serve it with vanilla icecream or chocolate syrup.

Notes/Tips

Use of curd is important as these brownies are eggless. Chopped walnuts are required to enhance the flavour.
