Ingredients

  • 1 Cup white Chana
  • 3 Tbsp oil
  • 1 Cup tomato puree
  • 1 Dry red chilli
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 Tbsp ginger Chilli paste
  • 1 Tbsp chana flour
  • 1/2 Tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 Tbsp chole masala
  • 1/2 Tbsp coriander cumin powder
  • 1/4 Tbsp turmeric powder
  • As per taste Salt
  • as needed Coriander as required

Instructions

  • Wash dry white chana with clean water and keep dip into warm water for 5 to 6 hours. Afterwards add salt to taste and turmeric powder and boil it in cooker vessel.
  • In a pan heat oil and add cumin seeds, dry red chilli and bay leaf. Afterwards add ginger chilli paste.
  • Now in that add chana flour. Afterwards in that add tomato puree. And then boil it for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Now add red chilli powder, coriander cumin powder, chole masala, turmeric powder and salt to taste. Afterwards add boiled white chana.
  • Boil it for 2 to 3 minutes and add coriander and serve it.
  • I have served it with Puri like this
