Ingredients

  • For boiling: noodles 2 packs
  • Water 2 ltr
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • For chowmein: Oil 2 tbsp
  • Slice onion 2
  • Chopped garlic 5-6
  • Chopped green chilli 3
  • Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • Julienned red and green capsicum 1 each
  • Shredded cabbage 1/2
  • Red chili sauce 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp Soya Sauce
  • Spring onion
  • For sauce mixture: vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Red chili sauce 1 tsp
  • Green Chilli sauce 1 tsp
  • Soya Sauce 1 tsp
  • Sugar powder 1/2 tsp
  • For powder spices: Garm masala 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Garnish with spring onion

Instructions

  • For Boiling Noodles In a large pot heat water, salt and bring it to a rolling boil then add the raw noodles and let them cook.Once cooked remove in a strainer and apply oil and keep aside for further use.
  • For Sauces Mixture In a bowl add vinegar, red chilli sauce, green chilli sauce, soya sauce, powdered sugar and mix everything properly and keep aside for further use
  • For Powdered Spices In a bowl add garam masala, degi red chilli powder, salt and mix everything then keep aside for further use.
  • For Chow Mein In a pan heat oil and add onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies and saute for a few seconds.Now add red bell pepper, capsicum, cabbage and saute for a minute on high heat.Then add boiled noodles, prepared sauces mixture, spices mixture, red chilli sauce, soya sauce and toss it properly until well mixed.Continue cooking for a minute then switch off the flames and add spring onions.Serving immediately and garnish it with spring onion.

Notes/Tips

Take care at time of boiling the noodles, it shouldn't be too soft.
