  • Chopped spinach
  • Chana dal
  • Tamarind pulp
  • Jaggery
  • Fresh coconut
  • Salt
  • Black pepper powder
  • Urad dal
  • Chana dal
  • Cumin seeds
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Mustard seeds
  • Coriander seeds
  • Black pepper
  • Red Kashmiri chilli
  • Curry leaves
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Hing
  • Turmeric
  • Oil
  • Daliya dal
  • Curd
  • Green chilli
  • Ginger

Instructions

  • For masala Dry roast all the dry ingredients one by one and make a fine powder of it.
  • Now soak the dal for 6-8 hours and grind by adding coconut to it and remaining seasoning to it. Add dry masala as per taste and do the south Indian style tempering by mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, mix all well and make balls of it and dip fry all
  • For chutney Grind coconut, daliya dal, curd, salt, ginger and green chilli and do the tempering like done in balls mixture.
  • Serve it hot with chutney.
