Coconut beetroot barfi

Ingredients

  • Fresh coconut
  • Whole sugar
  • Fresh cream
  • Ghee
  • Beetroot
  • Powdered sugar
  • Cardamom powder
  • Grated almonds

Instructions

  • In a pan mix grated fresh coconut ,whole sugar,ghee and fresh cream
  • Now switch on the gas and mix all this till it forms a mixture
  • To this now add raw peeled, grated beetroot
  • Mix all well till this barfi leaves the pan
  • To this now add grated almonds and cardamom powder
  • Now lastly add powdered sugar ,mix all well switch off the gas immeditely
  • Now spread this barfi in greased tray and leave it aside on room temp for an hour to set
  • Now garnish it with grated almonds and cut it into square pieces
  • Serve it

Notes/Tips

Instead of grated almonds u can add any other dryfruit excepts raisins
