Ingredients

  • 1/2kg dry grated coconut
  • 1/2Kg Jaggery
  • 30 grams Badam
  • 30 grams kaju
  • 30 grams dry dates
  • 10 grams Kis mis
  • 30 grams Gond ( Eating gum)
  • 10 grams kash kash
  • 1 tablespoon cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon dry ginger
  • 100 grams ghee

Instructions

  • Take a pan , add ghee and fry the dry fruits.
  • Take the dry fruits in a separate bowl and add the dry grated coconut in the pan.
  • Retain the coconut unless it a little roasted.
  • In a separate pan add jaggery and let it melt.
  • Once the jaggery gets melted add the dry fruits and dry coconut.
  • Add the cardamom,kash kash and dry ginger powder in the jaggery.
  • Add the gond and mix it well.
  • Once mixed, take it off the stove and immediately start making the ladoo.

Notes/Tips

Don't let the coconut be too roasted. While adding gond make sure it mixes well with the other ingredients. Don't wait for the mixture of the ladoo to cool down .Start making the ladoo while the mixture is still hot.
