  • Almond
  • Charoli
  • Mawa
  • Coconut
  • Coconut milk
  • Sugar
  • Cardamom
  • Ghee
  • Saffron
  • Semolina

Instructions

  • In a saucepan add sugar and water, bring it to boil on medium heat. Once the sugar totally dissolves turn off the heat. Leave it aside. Soak saffron in warm milk and leave it aside. In a heavy-based frying pan heat ghee and add semolina. Roast it on low heat until light pink and aroma start wafting, keep stirring continuously. Add sugar syrup and mix well, then add khoya and combine well and make sure there are no lumps left. Now add charoli, coconut milk, coconut and keep mixing until ghee starts leaving the mixture. Add cardamom powder, ghee, saffron milk and mix well. Add slivered nuts and turn off the heat.
