Ingredients

  • Celery
  • Potato
  • Garlic
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Water or vegetable stock
  • Heavy cream

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a pan and add garlic.
  • Then add chopped celery and saute for few minutes in low flame.
  • Now add potatoes, water or vegetable stock, salt and black pepper. Cover and cook till potatoes are done.
  • Let the mixture cool down a bit. Then blend the soup till it becomes smooth.
  • Transfer it back to the pan and gently heat the soup.
  • 6. Adjust the consistency of the soup.
  • Garnish with heavy cream and celery leaves. Serve hot and enjoy!!

Notes/Tips

1. Adjust the consistency of the soup. 2. Serve hot. If you are making it in advance then heat it before serving. 3. You can replace heavy cream with plain yogurt.
