Crispy Chakkalu

Ingredients

  • 500 grms Rice flour
  • 1fist soaked moongdal
  • Jeera 1tbsp
  • Seasame seeds 2 tbsp
  • Ghee 3 tbsp
  • Ginger paste 1 spoon
  • 1,frig Curry leaves
  • 1frig corriander leaves
  • Water for dough
  • Salt for taste
  • Green chillies 7 nos.

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl put rice flour,moongdal ( soak 1 hour before), jeera , seasame curryleaves, corriander leaves Ginger paste, salt , chilli paste mix all with required amount of water and 2spoons of hot oil and knead well . Now divide the flour to small balls. Now take a Puri press and grease polythene cover place it in Puri press keep ball over it and press tightly. Now drop it in hot oil one by one and fry till golden brown in medium flame. Now the crispy Chakkalu is ready to eat . .

Notes/Tips

We can add soaked chanadal also instead of moongdal.
