  • Split Green moong Dal
  • Basmati rice
  • Baby Spinach
  • Frozen sweet Corn
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red chilli powder
  • Corriender powder
  • Salt
  • Ghee
  • Cumin seeds
  • Bayleaf

Instructions

  • Combine 1 cup split green moong dal and 1 cup basmati rice (you can use simple rice as well ) soak it in enough water for 30 mins and drain well.
  • Combine rice ,dal , pinch of turmeric powder , salt in half cup of water mix everything well and pressure cook for 5 whistle.
  • After it is cooked add 1tbsp ghee to your hot khichdi.
  • For puree add 1 tbsp of ghee , 1tbsp of cumin seeds, salt , corriender powder , turmeric powder , chilli powder and add baby spinach around 200 grams saute it for 2 mins and place curried spinach in a blender make a smooth paste.
  • Now take a pan and it's time for tempering add 1tbsp of ghee add bayleaf and half cup of frozen sweetcorn saute it for 2 mins.
  • Pour puree over tempering and then add khichdi.
  • Serve it hot with curds, papad and pickle. šŸ˜‹
