Ingredients

  • Dal Tadka ½ Cup
  • Left over Baatis 3-4 no
  • Cucumber, finely chopped 4 tbsp
  • Capsicum , finely chopped 4 tbsp
  • Yellow, Red Bell Pepper, finely chopped 2 tbsp
  • Tomato, finely chopped 2tbsp
  • Onion, finely chopped 2 tbsp
  • Green Chilli, finely chopped 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted Cumin Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat Masala Powder 1 tbsp
  • Black Salt 1 tbsp
  • Sweetened Yoghurt 4 tbsp
  • Tamarind Chutney 2 tbsp
  • Mint or Green Chutney 1.5 tbsp
  • Nylon Sev 1 tbsp
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves, finely chopped 1tbsp
  • Pomegranate Kernels (Anar) 1 tbsp

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl add crushed leftover baatis, pour tadka dal.
  • Add all finely chopped vegetables one by one and reserve 1 tbsp of the vegetable mixture for the final topping.
  • Sprinkle spices powders.
  • Mix all the ingredients lightly. Do not over mix the mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture on to the serving plate. Topped it with sweetened yoghurt, tamarind chutney, green chutney and sprinkle little black salt and red chilli powder.
  • Garnish it with nylon sev on top, chopped coriander and pomegranate kernels (Fresh Anar dana).
  • Serve Immediately.
