- For boiling Soak the whole black gram dal for 1 hour, then boil it in cooker for 5 whistles add salt and turmeric
- For tadka Heat the ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, hing, ginger garlic paste, tomato puree red chilli powder, coriander cumin powder.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, then add above dal in it, cook at low flame for 20-25 minutes.
- Add water as required to adjust the consistency of dal.
- Now add salt, garm masala and kasuri methi.
- Again cook for 20-25 minutes at low flame.
- Garnish:- cream
- Serve it hot with jeera rice.
