  • Idli ravva
  • Idly rice
  • Urad dal
  • Chana dal
  • Curry leaves
  • Red chilli powder
  • Carrot
  • Corn
  • Baking soda
  • Buttermilk
  • Salt
  • Hing
  • Oil

Instructions

  • Take a bowl and add idli rice, idli rava, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves, red chilly, water and wash once then strain the water. To it add salt and asafoetida. Now add enough of water just to soak the ingredients for 2 to 4 hours. Then in a mixie jar blend it coarsely to make idli batter and take into a bowl. Add carrot, french beans, corn, cooking soda, buttermilk and mix thoroughly. Take an idli mould and spread oil then pour the batter and steam it for 10 minutes. Now the hot vegetable idly is ready to serve.
