Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup dal
  • as per taste Salt
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 tbsp desi ghee
  • 1/2 tsp heeng
  • 1 tsp jeera

Instructions

  • Soak dal for 10 minutes and drain the water. Take one cooker add daal with salt, water, haldi and chopped tomatoes. Pressure cook for 3 vessel and put the flame off.
  • Take one pan heat desi ghee add jeera, Hing,onion and fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add red chilli and put the flame off. Pour the mixture into daal. Serve With hot rice and mix pickle and salad.
  • Cook the rice according to your choice and serve rice with dal arhar.
