- In a bowl soak toor dal 15 mins.After soaking put in a pressure cooker add onion,garlic,turmeric,tomato,salt,curry powder,and water.
- Pressure cook the Dal for about 5-8 minutes(6whistle) until cooked completely.
- Heat oil in a pan add cumin seed s,mustard seeds when the crackle add onion,dry chilli, and it appears until golden brown then add curry leaf cook for few second finally add chilli powder mix well.pour the tadka over the cooked dal and add 2tsp ghee.
- Dal tadka is ready to serve with white rice,jeera rice,and chappathi
