- In a similar pan, fry daliya on low heat till it turns reddish.
- Heat water in a pan. When the water is hot, add roasted daliya and mix well. Cover and cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes.
- Then remove the lid, add jaggery and ghee and cook for 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, grind cardamom powder, nutmeg and alum. Pour in the above mixture. Cover once again and remove the steam. This created a daliya sheera.
