  • Nutmeg powder
  • Red chilli powder
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Curd
  • Cinnamon
  • Cardamom
  • Mace
  • Corinader
  • Kewra water

Instructions

  • Add oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit. Once oil is hot add onion and sauté. Press cancel, remove and keep aside. Take a blender and grind cloves, cinnamon stick, green cardamom, nutmeg, and mace to a powder. Then add fried onion to it and grind them. Clean the pot and press sauté mode. Add ginger garlic paste to the existing oil and sauté for few seconds. Next add chicken, salt and continue to sauté for few minutes. Add in the red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric and mix well until they get combined with the chicken. Now add the grinded onion mixture and mix. Add the yogurt and stir for 3 min. Later add 1 cup of water and stir well. Press cancel. Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed. After Pre-Cooking is done. Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release. Now Open the cooker. Switch to Keep warm. Finally add kewra water and give it a quick stir. Garnish it with coriander leaves. Degi Chicken Korma is ready.
