- Take rice in a bowl. Wash & soak rice and in water for 15 minutes. Fry the green gram let it cool.
- In a pressure cooker, add soaked rice, green gram drumstick leaves required salt & 3 cups of water. Cook it for 4 to 5 whistles and switch the flame off. Open the cooker, once the pressure released completely.
- In a grinding jar, add chopped coconut, green chilli, cumin seeds and small onions. Grind to a smooth paste along with required water
- Add coconut paste, turmeric powder, to the cooked rice with required amount of water.
- Boil the water. Add more salt if required and cook for 10 more minutes.
