- Dry roast the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, transfer into a blender and make a fine powder out of it. Heat oil in apan, add dry red chillies, chana dal, urad dal, turmeric powder, hing, curry leaves, drum stick pieces, salt and cook it well. Now add tarmarind pulp, red chili powder, grinded masala, sugar and cook it for about 15 minutes. Serve with rice.
