  • Mixed Chopped Dry Fruits
  • Deseeded chopped dates
  • Dry coconut powder
  • Chopped Raisins
  • Powdered Cardamom
  • Ghee

Instructions

  • Roast the chopped dry fruits in 1/2 Tbsp Ghee and remove from pan
  • Quickly add raisins to roast. Be careful not to burn them. If the ghee is too hot you may switch off the gas and roast them. Remove from pan
  • Add 1/2 Tbsp of ghee to the remaining ghee in pan. Roast the chopped dates. Mash them roughly. Put off the gas at this point.
  • Add the roasted dry fruits, rasain, coconut powder, cardamom powder to the Roasted dates and mix properly.
  • Let is cool a bit, but not completely as it will not form balls if completely cooled. Shape into small balls. Put it on a plate . You may roll it in some coconut powder if you like. Ready to serve and savour

Notes/Tips

Be careful not to burn raisins - roast them quickly in mild hot ghee. When roasting date keep the gas on sim. Mash it properly. You will need to be quick taking care not to burn the dates.
