  • For misal: Oil 2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Hing 1/4 tsp
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Ginger Chilli garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Boiled sprouts 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Garm masala 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1
  • For poha: Water for boiling
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger Chilli paste 1 tsp
  • Poha 2 cups
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Hing pinch
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Others: Chopped onion, curd, sev (big), salt, re

Instructions

  • For misal Heat oil in a pan, do the tadka, then add onion and paste, saute for 2-3 minutes, then add boiled sprouts and do the seasoning and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • For poha Boil the water in big vessel and salt and ginger chilli paste, wait for 1 boil, with a strainer dip the poha in and out, in order that poha will get wash and get the flavour of salt and ginger chilli paste.
  • Now heat the oil in pan, add do tadka and add poha in it, do the remaining seasoning. Check salt if required. 
  • Now do assembling  Take a serving bowl first do the layer of sprouts then poha and top up with boiled potatoes, sev(both) onion, curd and sprinkle the masala. As per the bowl size layer can be repeated. Ready to serve.

Notes/Tips

Take care poha should not get stick.
