Ingredients

  • Masala paste:Kasuri methi 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon stick 1
  • Cloves 3
  • Black pepper 3
  • Dry Kashmiri red chilli 3
  • Dry Red Chillies 3
  • White paste: Cashew nuts 6-8
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Melon seeds 1 tbsp
  • Boiled baby potatoes 15-16
  • Oil for frying + gravy
  • For Gravy: cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Ginger Chilli garlic paste 3 tbsp
  • Onion paste 1 cup
  • Tomato puree 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Hing 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander cumin powder 2 tsp

Instructions

  • Masala paste Soak all the ingredients in one bowl for 3-4 hours, then make a fine paste of it.
  • White paste Soak all the ingredients in one bowl for 3-4 hours, then make a fine paste of it
  • Now fry the boiled potatoes by pricking with fork till golden brown in colour.
  • Now heat the oil in pan add all the paste one by one and cook till oil is released and do the seasoning and add the potatoes to it, add some water and cook till oil is released.
  • Garnish:- Fresh coriander

Notes/Tips

If baby potatoes not available then cut the big potatoes in cube
