- Mix curd, oil, sugar, and vanilla essence well in a big bowl. To the same bowl, sieve in 1 cup flour (wheat flour/ maida /almond flour/oats flour) I took 1 cup maida. Together with flour, sieve 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
- Gradually add 1/2 cup milk or hot water to maintain the consistency of the cake batter. Add tutti fruity, chopped cherries, and nuts in the batter and fold lightly (Coat cherries with flour before adding that helps in better distribution of cherries.. Else they assemble at one place)
- Pour the batter into a greased baking tin. Meanwhile, heat a nonstick Kadai on flame. Covered to preheat. Put salt in it, keep a stand in the Kadai, place the baking tin inside it and bake it at low flame (covered) for 40 minutes or till the toothpick comes out clean š OR bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
