  • 5 ripe bananas
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup curd
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking Soda
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder

Instructions

  • In a blender jar, add bananas, sugar, curd, and oil. Blend into a smooth paste. Remove to a bowl and keep aside. In a large bowl, sift together whole wheat flour, cinnamon powder, baking powder, and baking soda to incorporate air.
  • In the meantime, preheat the oven to 175°C. Gently fold in the dry mixture into the wet ingredients in batches so that it forms a smooth batter.
  • Line the baking tin with parchment paper. Pour in the batter and tap a few times so that the batter settles down.
  • Bake it at 175°C for 50 minutes. Check with a skewer if it is cooked after 40 minutes. The cooking time varies depending on the oven.
  • Move it to a rack and allow it to cool completely.
  • Remove to a serving dish and slice it as desired. The Eggless Whole Wheat Banana Bread is ready to serve.

Coffee and bread are perfect combination
