Eggless chocolate brownie cake

Ingredients

  • Refined flour - 2 cups
  • Baking powder- 2 tsp
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp
  • Dark chocolate chopped - 250 gm
  • Buttermilk- 3/4 cup
  • Butter at room temperature - 150 gm
  • Caster sugar- 5 tbsp
  • Condensed milk - 1 tin
  • Vanilla extract- 1 tsp
  • Chopped walnuts - 1/4 cup
  • For chocolate ganache :cream -1 cup
  • Chopped dark chocolate - 2 cup
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  • Coloured whole sugar for garnish- 3 tbsp

Instructions

  • Grease and line two 7 'round tins with baking paper
  • In a bowl mix all dry ingredients ,flour,baking powder and baking soda and sieve twice to make it uniform
  • Melt together the chocolate and butter over a double boiler
  • Set your oven to heat at 180 C
  • Put in the condensed milk,buttermilk and the vanilla extract and beat again for 2 minutes
  • Mix the liquid ingredients into the flour and mix untill all flour ingredients are mixed into liquid ingredients well mix in the walnuts
  • Pour the batter into 2 tins and tap twice ,scatter the nuts all over on top and bake for 30 minutes
  • Remove the cake from oven after 30 minutes and let it come to room temperature for 4 hours
  • To make the chocolate ganache warm the cream, add in chopped chocolate and mix well till chocolate is completely melted.mix in butter and vanilla essence and mix well
  • Cool the chocolate ganache in refrigerator for 2 hours
  • Level the cooled cakes .cover the base in chocolate ganache ,top with 2 nd cake.cover the whole cake in ganache .pipe out swirls or garnish as desired.lastly sprinkle coloured whole sugar on top of cake as garnish
  • Serve it

Before making batter of cake ,let all ingredients be at room temperature
