Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup samo / moraiyo
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 big tomato
  • 1 small potato chopped
  • 1 small pice bottle gourd chopped
  • 1/2 small carrot chopped
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp pan bhaji masala
  • as per taste Salt
  • as required Curd to serve

Instructions

  • Wash and soak samo / moraiyo.
  • Heat oil and roast cumin. Add tomato and require amount of salt, cook for 2-3min and make tomato mashy. Add chopped veggies. Cover and cook for 2min on low heat. (Use finely chopped veggies)
  • Now add dry spices and roast for a min. Now add 1, 1/2 cup of water and simmer for 5min. Now add samo/ moraiyo and cook for 7-8 min. With lid.
  • Add water if require. Mix in between.
  • Serve hot with curd. And enjoy this mouthwatering fasting food in your lunch or dinner.
