Flat Beans Fry

Ingredients

  • 400 gm Flat Beans
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 2-3 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 large finely chopped Onion
  • 2-3 chopped Green Chillies
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 small bunch chopped Coriander Leaves

Instructions

  • In a pan, heat ghee and add the ginger garlic paste, green chillies and all the other spices. Saute well for a minute. Then add the finely chopped onion. Let it become a bit translucent and light pinkish in colour. Now it's time to add the chopped Flat Beans.
  • Cover and cook just for about 3 to 4 minutes on a low flame. After that, open the lid and stir fry them on a medium flame by stirring continuously. Or if using a non stick kadai, do it at regular intervals.
  • Do not add water. As the beans are thinly chopped, they get perfectly roasted in no time. Squeeze some Lemon juice for the tanginess after done if desired. Enjoy! Yum!
