Fried Egg Rice

Ingredients

  • Pre cooked Rice - 200gm
  • Eggs - 2 large
  • Onion - 1 large
  • Garlic cloves - 4
  • Fresh Green Chillis - 2 / 3
  • Soya sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Chilli sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

  • Finely chop onion, garlic and chillis. Separate the egg white and yolk. Mix the soya sauce and chilli sauce.
  • Mix the egg white to the pre cooked rice and keep aside.
  • Take a frying pan and add 2 tbsp oil. When the oil is hot, add the chopped onion, garlic and chillis. Sprinkle salt. Fry the onion mix until it turns golden
  • Once the onions are cooked, pour the egg yolk. Keep frying for 2-3 mins
  • Add the sauce mix and mix it with the scrambled eggs.
  • Add the egg white coated rice.
  • Fry the rice until it turns light brown in color.
  • Fried Eggs Rice is done.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot

Notes/Tips

• The precooked Rice must be 90% done. • Serve hot with any gravy dish or sauce.
