Ingredients

  • carrots 1kg
  • sugar 500gms
  • pure ghee 250gms
  • cardamom 4-5 (only seeds)
  • cashews
  • cream 200ml
  • khoya 500gms

Instructions

  • To begin making this dish dive in and peel the carrots. Grade the carrots using the medium side of the shredder.
  • Once done, take a pan and heat it on medium flame.
  • Add the carrots and saute till it dries.
  • Add cardamom seeds to the mixture and keep stirring it to avoid burning and sticking of the the carrots to the pan
  • Now add some cream to the mixture.
  • Once done, add sugar to the pan and stir well. Let the mixture dry and absoorb all the contents into it.
  • Now add the ghee to the mixture and mix it.
  • Now let the mixture cook on low flame till the ghee oozes out of it.
  • And its ready to serve hot with a garnishing of cashews on it.

Notes/Tips

The carrots must always be fresh. And adhere to the quantities for best results.
