- For Halwa, wash, peel and grate carrots.
- Boil grated carrots in a pressure cooker with milk for 10 minutes on medium heat.
- Transfer in a wok, add nuts and cook on high heat till it becomes dry.
- Add sugar and ghee, cook till ghee leaves from sides.
- Add khoya and cook for another 5 minutes, tgen switch off the heat.
- For tart, take flour and butter in bowl.
- Add sugar and milk and knead a dough.
- Add pink colour in dough and knead again. Keep in refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
- Take out the dough from fridge and roll out from rolling pin.
- Brush butter in a heart shape cake mould and arrange rolled dough in it.
- Prick it with the help of a fork and bake it for 25 minutes.
- Remove it from oven and allow it to cool.
- Fill it with prepared gajar halwa and arnish with pistachios, khoya and cherry.
