- Use a heated pan to fry the dry fruits in ghee on low flame and keep aside.
- To that left over ghee ,add some more spoons and mix the grated carrot .Fry it until the carrot is cooked.
- Meanwhile prepare the sugar syrup by adding water,sugar and cardamom powder until it becomes thick.
- Now add the sugar syrup to the fried carrot and mix till all the water get exhausted to get the halwa.
- Now prepare the Mawa by adding sugar,milk and few drops of lemon juice. Cook until we get the solid chunks of milk.
- Now decorate the halwa by mixing the Mawa,fried dry fruits and silver paper.
- Gajar ka halwa is ready to serve hot or cold.
