Ingredients

  • 2 kg Carrot
  • 500 g Khoya/mawa
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 50 g Ghee
  • as required Dry fruits (almond, pistachio, cashew)
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  • Grate the carrots

Instructions

  • Take a cooker and add geated carrot. Let it on the flame. Cook for a whitle.
  • Then squeeze the carrot remove extra water.
  • Take a pan add water and sugar. Cook till the sugar is completely dissolved into a syrup.
  • Add carrot and mawa mixed well.
  • Add ghee and cardamom powder and stir the mixture.
  • Then add dry fruits and stir.
  • Gajar ka halwa ready to serve.
  • Garnish it with dry fruits and serve hot.
