- Wash the gazar and grate it finely.
- Take a pan with thick bottom and add sugar and milk.
- Place the pan on the stove at medium flame and keep stirring at regular intervals.
- Once the gazar is cooked nicely add ghee and cardamom powder on low flame.
- Cook the gazar for around 5 minutes after adding ghee and cardamom powder.
- Garnish the halwa with chopped dry fruits.
- Serve the halwa hot or cold as preferred.
