Ingredients

  • Wheat flour / Atta
  • Powdered sugar
  • Clarified butter / Ghee
  • Gond/ Edible gum
  • Broken cashew nuts
  • Chopped dried coconut
  • Cardamom powder

Instructions

  • 1) Heat ghee in a kadhai, fry gond/edible gum at medium to low flame until they turn fluffy and crispy. Remove them into a napkin..Once they cool down coarsely break them with a rolling pin..
  • 2) In the same ghee fry the Cashew nuts and the chopped coconut for 30 secs or till they turn light golden brown . Remove them into a napkin.
  • 3) Finally add the wheat flour into the ghee and fry them at low flame until they turn light golden brown and releases beautiful aroma. Turn off the flame.
  • 4) Now immediately pour the roasted Wheat flour into a large bowl, and add the roasted nuts, cardamom powder, coarsely ground edible gum and the powdered sugar. Quickly mix them together with a spatula.
  • 5)Now make laddu's using your palms while the mixture is still hot so as to get perfect round shaped laddu's..
