Ingredients

  • 400 gm Green Peas shelled and boiled
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 3-4 tbsp chopped Almonds
  • 1/4 cup Homemade Mawa
  • 1/2 cup Sugar ,6-7 tbsp Ghee

Instructions

  • Boil Green Peas for about 5 minutes. Set aside. Blend to a smooth paste. Heat Ghee to a pan. Add this blended paste to it and cook until the water dries up for about 5-6 minutes at first. Now add Sugar and Cardamom powder to it. Mix and cook on a low to medium high heat until done. Since the Peas have been boiled, it doesn't take much time in getting roasted to perfection. The texture also is absolutely amazing.
  • After it starts to leave the sides of the pan, it means that it's done to perfection. At this point, stir in some Malai or Mawa if desired. Sugar can be adjusted accordingly. Garnish with some more of Nuts and take it off the heat.
  • Allow it to cool down a little and then shape into medium sized Laddoos. Serve them immediately. Or can be relished for upto a Week or a little more if refrigerated. Unless ofcourse they still remain. They will just vanish in no time. I guarantee you that. Enjoy!
