Ingredients

  • 3 cups bajra flour
  • 1 cup jaggery
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/4 tbsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 2 pinch salt
  • as required Oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  • Cut the jaggery in small pieces.take a wok or pan add water and bring it to boil.when water started Boilig add jaggery and stir until it completely melted.then strain it and keep aside to slightly cool.
  • In a bowl or thali sieve the flour add cardamom powder, salt and 2 tbsp sesame seeds. Mix well. Gradually add the jaggery syrup and mix well.add ghee and knead again.make a hard dough.
  • Make medium size ball, press with fingers and sprinkle some sesame seeds press lightly. Roll it on rolling board cut into diamond shape.
  • Heat oil in.kadhai and deep fry them on medium to high flame until they turn golden brown. Transfer on absorbing paper. When it cool completely keep in an airtight container.
