- Take 100 gm tamarind and soak it for 1 hour in water. Now squeeze it and sieve it to remove seeds. Now take this in a pan and put it on gas. Add 100 gm jaggery, red chilli powder, roasted jeera, salt, sugar, chat masala, black salt and garam masala. Mix it properly. When it becomes thick, switch off the gas.
- Instead of garam masala, you can also add saunth powder. You can use it for one month and can be used while making papdi chat, bhelpuri etc.
