This might not be "the authentic" recipe for but trust me this recipe tastes soooo good. The crispy crust on the potato and the perfectly cooked potatoes on the inside is worth the try

Ingredients

  • 2 shredded potatoes
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • Garlic chopped
  • Mint leaves
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Salt
  • Chilli powder
  • Corn flour
  • 1 egg
  • Green chillis

Instructions

  • In a large bowl add the shredded potatoes. (Make sure to wash the potatoes with cold water to remove the starch) add chopped onion, chopped garlic , mint leaves, cheese, salt, green chillis, chilli powder and an egg.
  • Mix it really well and then add 1/2 cup of corn flour or corn starch. You can add more corn starch for the extra crunch.
  • In a non stick pan add some oil and heat it over medium flame and make patties out of the mixture on the pan itself.
  • Fry until crispy and golden brown. Serve hot with ketchup or garlic mayo dip

Notes/Tips

Make sure to use the mixture as quickly as possible otherwise the mixture will become watery when left for too long
