Ingredients

  • Maida 1 cup (180 grams)
  • Cocoa Powder ¼ cup (30 grams)
  • Baking powder 1 tsp (5 gram)
  • Baking soda 1 tsp (5 grams)
  • Milkmaid/condensed milk 200 grams
  • Butter/Sunflower oil 50 grams
  • Water ½ cup (90-100 grams)
  • Vanilla essence(optional) 1 tsp (not compulsory)
  • Cake gel (optional) ½ tsp(not compulsory)

Instructions

  • Measure dry and wet ingredients separately
  • Mix dry ingredients with wet and combine well
  • Now pour this mixture in a cake mould (7-8 inches), lined with a butter paper. (I used heart shape) Bake at 160-180° for 35-45 mins (depending upon heating capacity of your oven/otg).
  • take 400 GRAMS WHIPPING CREAM (CHILLED liquid form). whip it.
  • cut sponge in three layer.pour water then icing with whip cream in each layer
  • for top garnishing take 3-4 Tbsp neutral gel and add red colour (3 drops) to it. Apply it on half portion of cake.
  • on another half portion make rose from whipping cream and garnish it.

Notes/Tips

All ingredients must be at room temperature except whipping cream. 100 GRAMS WATER IS USED(for soaking)
