Honey Curd with Mango jelly topping

  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp starter curd
  • 1 tsp agar agar
  • 2 c kesar mango pulp

Instructions

  • To make curd: Boil milk in a milk cooker or in a saucepan over medium heat. Make sure that it does not boil over and make a mess. Transfer the milk to a bowl. Add honey and mix. Let it cool ; just warm enough to touch with your finger. Add the, 1 tsp starter curd. Transfer it to ice cream bowls. Cover and place in a warm place. I usually place it within the electric oven with the light on. Curd will set in 4 – 5 hours.
  • To make jelly: Take the sweet mango pulp in a bowl. Dissolve agar agar in a bowl with 1tbsp hot water ; add this to mango pulp, mix. Place the bowl inside a microwave; microwave for 2 minutes. Remove and let it cool for 15 minutes. Cover and refrigerate. Jelly will set in about 30-49 minutes. Using a knife cut the set jelly into small pieces.

Notes/Tips

You can top the curd with as many jelly pieces as you want. Serve chilled.
