- 1. Peel, wash and dry the garlic, ginger and green chillies. 2. Roughly chop all with a knife or use a chopper, 4. In a big dry bowl add lemon juice, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, kalaunji, oil and mix well. 5. Add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies. 6. Mix well and cover with a fine cloth and keep it in sun for a day or two. 7. Transfer it in a glass jar.
