  • 1 Cup Gulab jamun mix
  • 1 cup sugar for syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • as needed Few saffron strings
  • as required Ghee for frying
  • Some chopped almonds and pistachios for garnishin

Instructions

  • Take gulab jamun mix in a mixing bowl, add water little at a time and mix well to make lumps free and smooth batter. The batter should be in pouring consistency.
  • Add saffron (soaked with little milk) and mix well.
  • Heat ghee in a pan, add a serving spoon of batter into it and fry until it becomes brown from both sides. Drain it out in a plate and keep aside to cool. Fry all the puris likewise.
  • Meanwhile add sugar and water in a pan to make syrup, keep the pan on low to medium flame and stir until sugar dissolved completely.let it cook for 2-3 minutes more. Also add cardamom powder to it. Switch off the flame.
  • Dip fried puris in lukewarm syrup to soak (4-5 at a time) for 4-5 minutes. After that drain them out in a serving plate, garnish with some chopped almonds and pistachios. Delicious instant malai Puri is ready.

Garnish it well and serve hot
