- In a mixing bowl, add the flour and oil/ghee. Mix thoroughly
- Add the egg and mix with the flour. Stir until a smooth batter is formed. You can add warm milk to smoothen the batter.
- Once the batter is ready, add the jaggery and mix thoroughly.
- Add baking powder and mix .
- Add baking soda and give it a light 1 or 2 stir.
- Switch on your gas stove and place a frying pan. Let it get hot. Once hot, reduce the flame
- Pour one laddle of the batter on the frying pan. DO NOT SPREAD. Pancake batter will spread on its own.
- You will see some bubbles will start forming on the pancakes. Now flip the pancake and let it cook from the other side. Once cooked remove from flame
- Repeat with rest of the batter. Serve with fresh jaggery syrup
