A traditional sweet with jaggery

Ingredients

  • Broken wheat (Daliya) 1 cup
  • Grated coconut 1cup
  • Grated jaggery 1 and 1/2 cup
  • Milk with cream 2 cups
  • Dry fruits of your choice
  • Cardamom powder 1 tspoon

Instructions

  • Roast 1 cup of Daliya on ghee. Add warm water and cook it in a cooker for 2 whistle.
  • In a pan, mix coconut and jaggery and cook it for 10 min until jaggery melts completely.
  • Add cooked Daliya in the mixture of coconut and jaggery and cook it together for 10 min.
  • Wait till the mixture becomes warm. Once it is warm, add 2 cups of milk with thick cream in it. Mix it well.
  • Add dryfruits of your choice and cardamom powder. Then it is ready to serve.
