- Warm ghee in a heavy pan and add wheat germ. Stir and cook till the wheat germ turns golden in colour and exudes aroma. Meanwhile melt sugar or jaggery in one cup of water.
- Boil and add remaining water to roasted wheat germ. Stir gently and cook till the grain of the germ is soft.
- Now add sugar or jaggery, cardamom and chopped dry fruit. Stir and simmer covered, stirring occasionally.
- Cook till ghee separates along the sides. Serve hot.
