- Melt the sugar in measured water and add color and cardamom powder and boil well almost to get a one string consistency.
- Mix maida, ghee, eno well and make a dropping batter by adding water.
- Heat oil in a shallow pan. Pour the batter into piping bag or ketchup bottle or a thick plastic cover and make jalebis.
- Remove and put them into sugar syrup immediately for 15 - 20 seconds.
